  3. I spent 36 hours in the most incredible house I have every stayed in out in Palm Springs a few weeks ago. I collaborated with Carla Richmond (another bad ass LA photographer, http://www.go-carla-go.com/) and we shot every waking moment of our visit. We made so many pictures together, it was such an wonderful experience. I haven’t collaborated with other photographers very much in my career, so it was eye opening to experience how powerful it can be to join creative forces with another person. 5. I just got home from a magical week up in Washington and Oregon. I spent time with my oldest brother and his family who live in Morocco. I only see them when they come home for the summer every two years. I love my nieces and nephew so much, it was a joy to run around with them for 4 days.

  6. Palm Springs! It’s taken me about 5 visits to understand the delicately woven elements that attract people to Palm Springs and desert in Southern California . But I finally beginning to wrap my head around it— and I think this picture really evokes that feeling. There are so many ways that you can enjoy the desert- but I think privacy might be the best way (for me).
A good friend and fantastic photographer Carla Richmond and I collaborated on this picture. We had a blast working together for 2 days. We woke up at 5 am and shot until dusk the two days we spent out there. I loved the experience of collaborating and I am really happy with our results. Palm Springs!
